The following guarantee wording is valid from the date of publication until further notice.

WARRANTY AND WARRANTY CONDITIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL MACHINES

Zimet Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością guarantees that the newly sold devices are free from defects in materials and workmanship.

  • Warranty Period:

    • For entrepreneurs: 12 months from the date of sale.
    • For natural persons: 24 months from the date of sale.
  • Obligations under this Warranty:

    • Free repair of the device by an authorized service center.
    • Repairs during the warranty period should be completed within 21 days from the date of written notification of the defect.
    • Each repair must be documented with a repair protocol issued by the service center.
    • The repair period may extend to 28 days if parts need to be imported from abroad.

Warranty Coverage Excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear of the equipment.
  • Physical and chemical damage to the device components caused by impacts, shocks, or the action of chemically aggressive substances or the environment.
  • Defects resulting from misuse, overloading, or use contrary to the intended purpose.
  • Damage caused during repairs by unauthorized persons or by using parts and consumables not approved by the equipment manufacturer.
  • Damage caused by non-compliance with operating and maintenance instructions, or the use of incorrect oil.
  • Damage due to the owner’s failure to report a noticeable defect immediately upon purchase or during subsequent use.
  • Damage caused by force majeure or voltage fluctuations.

Warranty Repair Does Not Include:

  • Routine activities such as cleaning and daily maintenance, which are the user’s responsibility.
  • Device adjustments related to switching to a mode due to the specificity of the material being sewn (e.g., changing the thickness of the material, threads, needles, replacing feet and accessories).
  • Consumables like needle plates, teeth, feet, additional equipment, knives, thread cutting scissors, material cutting scissors, hooks, personal protective covers, sharpening tapes, ceramic sharpeners, electric and steam cables, heaters, control lamps, Teflon belts, and their replacements.
  • Damage to electronic control modules due to improper connection or voltage supply to the device.
  • Damage during transport not reported to the carrier at the time of receipt.

Note: A temporary deterioration in device operation due to using inappropriate materials (threads, fabrics, etc.) is not considered a defect or damage.

Warranty Claims and Repairs

  • Sales and Service Point: The central service and sales points are authorized to accept complaints and perform warranty repairs.

  • According to the operating instructions, the domestic machine is intended for household use.

  • The customer has the right to replace the product under the following conditions:

    • During the warranty period, if five repairs of the same element have been made and the device still shows defects preventing proper operation.
    • The central service declares in writing that the defect cannot be repaired.
  • For sales to entrepreneurs, the customer bears the cost of unjustified repair notifications.
